Inside Tucson District

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to develop, construct, maintain, and operate a safe Transportation system within the Tucson District, along with providing resources, training and facilities for the District and Regional employees to perform their duties in a manner that  meets or exceeds the expectations of the traveling public.

 

 

 

 


Tucson District headquarters is located at 1221 S. 2nd Avenue in Tucson.  The Tucson District Engineer is Todd Emery and the Regional Traffic Engineer is Reza Karimvand.  Tucson District and Southern Regional Traffic Section is allocated 104 maintenance funded positions, 76 construction funded positions and 18 administrative funded positions for a total of 198 positions. The Tucson District is the largest district in the State to manage all functions of maintenance, construction, permitting and traffic. This District covers 4250 lane miles throughout Pima, Pinal and Santa Cruz Counties on 23 different routes and also administers regional traffic responsibilities.
