Permits Flow Procedures - Inspect

An inspector, as specified by the issuing District, is responsible for these steps.  The inspector must review the approves scope of work, schedule, all documentation to become familiar with the work to be done. Review the documentation for errors and omissions. As work is accomplished and as appropriate, the inspector should:  monitor the work, monitor the equipment, material, and  test logs, Prepare progress reports as appropriate, If a deficiency is noted, work to correct it or make field adjustments.  Ensure Permit Record Drawings are updated to reflect As-Built condition.  Upon successful completion of work, the inspector should prepare acceptance documentation.  Distribute the acceptance package, saving a copy for record. It is the responsibility of the requestor to remedy any deficiency identified or make any changes deemed necessary and must all be ADOT approved.
